The singer turned fashion designer, 52, is said to have lodged trademark applications reportedly covering products ranging from tableware and furniture to decorative accessories, as the ex-Spice Girl continues to expand her brand.<\/p>\n
Victoria has spent more than two decades transforming herself from pop star to fashion designer, building a label that now generates revenues of more than \u00a3100 million. <\/p>\n
Now, according to reports in The Sun, Victoria\u2019s latest plans include collections featuring silverware, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, glasses, mugs, vegetable slicers, cake domes, flower vases, plant pots, furniture and cushions. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
The reported expansion follows recent milestones for her business, including a return to profitability, retail growth plans and Victoria\u2019s comments she would \u201cnever say never\u201d to selling the company in the future. <\/p>\n
\nThe developments also come as Victoria and her husband Sir David Beckham, 51, continue to attract attention following the public fallout within the Beckham family after their son Brooklyn Beckham, 27, said in a recent social media statement he was cutting off contact with his parents.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to the Financial Times, Victoria was asked whether she would ever consider selling her business.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI would never say never and I like to look at opportunities. But at the moment I am looking at growth but I would never say never.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nVictoria added: \u201cI\u2019m very excited, this is breaking news, my store in London is showing there is an appetite so we are about to open in New York and Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: \u201cFor me until I open the store in NY and Miami, I have been reliant on online but I want to be able to control the experience from the client walking in the store.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nVictoria said: \u201cThe next step is retail expansion and we will see where it goes next. I\u2019m very lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI\u2019m building a legacy brand there are categories I haven\u2019t entered yet so we see a big opportunity and we spent a long time fixing and now it\u2019s time for growth. I want to build the house.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe designer also reflected on the journey that followed the launch of her fashion label in 2008, saying she felt she had finally earned recognition within the industry after years of scepticism.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI feel accomplished, it\u2019s been a roller coaster over the last 25 years and I was transparent in my Netflix documentary but to be able to say that fashion and beauty is profitable that is something I am very very proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDespite repeated speculation about a Spice Girls reunion, Victoria reiterated her music career has come to an end. <\/p>\n
\nThe singer, who rose to worldwide fame as Posh Spice alongside Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton, said she had no intention of returning to performing. <\/p>\n
\nInstead, she said her youngest son, Cruz Beckham, had inherited the family\u2019s musical ambitions as he launches his tunes and gigs around Britain.<\/p>\n
\nVictoria said: \u201cMusic has been a huge part of my life, my dad was in music and I was but I\u2019ve handed the baton over to Cruz now, he is very talented.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe also spoke about her marriage to David, whose football career included Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and 115 appearances for England before he built a global business portfolio spanning fashion, sport and lifestyle ventures.<\/p>\n
\nVictoria said: \u201cThe best bit of advice is we support each other and respect each other. We support each others big dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cPeople don\u2019t realise David is incredibly smart, he has businesses and I absolutely turn to him, but not necessarily with the clothes but the business side.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe reported homeware expansion comes after Victoria\u2019s fashion business recovered from years of losses that included debts of \u00a353.9 million before reaching profitability following its Paris Fashion Week presentation in 2022.<\/p>\n
