This is going to be a great Fourth of July.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"FULL 2026 Nathan&#039;s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest \ud83c\udf2d | ESPN\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E1ILwvFjVpU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Joey<\/strong> ate 66 hot dogs in 10 minutes to claim a victory in the competition. He won the $10,000 prize and the Mustard Belt. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Joey<\/strong>\u2018s record amount of hot dogs is 76, which he ate in 2021. Last year, he ate 70.5 hot dogs. In 2024, Joey did not compete due to a sponsorship issue with Major League Eating. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI knew I was going to be able to get the win,\u201d <strong>Joey<\/strong> told <em>GMA<\/em>. He said the heat caused him to slow down and not get close to his record. \u201cIt slowed me down. There\u2019s room for improvement,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The women\u2019s contest was won by <strong>Miki Sudo<\/strong>, who finished 38.75 hot dogs in the allotted time.
