Vogue: I would love to start by hearing about how you both got cast for the show.<\/b><\/p>\n
Sean Preston<\/b>: The creative director [of Vetements] reached out to Jayden and me, I guess, from seeing photos of us on the internet, and invited us to walk the show. Initially, we were supposed to just be invited to watch the show, but then he came up with the decision to let us walk. We were like, \u201cHell yeah, that\u2019s so sick.\u201d I\u2019ve heard about the brand Vetements before, and I\u2019ve worn their stuff, but I\u2019ve never really been in a fashion environment before. That was really cool and exciting.<\/p>\n
V: Your mom is no stranger to performance and fashion. What did she think of the whole thing?<\/b><\/p>\n
Jayden James<\/b>: Oh my god, she was so nervous for us. She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do. She wasn\u2019t there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times. It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there. I feel like she knew we had it. She was like, \u201cYeah, you guys are my sons. You\u2019ve got this.\u201d<\/p>\n
V: Now that you\u2019ve done the runway walk once, would you do it again?<\/b><\/p>\n
JJ<\/b>: I don\u2019t know about Preston, but I\u2019m definitely interested. I feel like I could do better, since this was my first fashion show and everything. I could master my walk better\u2014I was definitely stiff because I was nervous. But Preston and I are trying to do music and other things.<\/p>\n
SP<\/b>: After being in that environment, I love it so much\u2014seeing how a whole show is put together. But I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s something that I would pursue or not. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s something that I\u2019m super passionate about, but I know I had a lot of fun doing it. Music is the foundation of everything for me. Jayden and I have done music our whole lives, and we definitely gravitate towards that more than anything else.<\/p>\n
