Violet Affleck is the pride and joy<\/a> of her actress mom,\u00a0Jennifer Garner<\/a><\/strong>, and actor dad,\u00a0Ben Affleck<\/strong><\/a>. She\u2019s always been a studious child and teen, and yet looks so much like her stunning mother that fans have made comparisons to Jen for years as Violet has grown up.<\/p>\n Ben and Jen\u2019s eldest child was born on December 1, 2005, arriving six months after her parents wed in a Caribbean beachside ceremony<\/a> on June 29, 2005. She is named Violet in honor of Jennifer\u2019s great-grandmother and shares her middle name, Anne, with her movie star mom.<\/p>\n Violet has always been any parents\u2019 dream child. She\u2019s incredibly well-behaved, highly studious and still so loving and affectionate with Ben and Jen.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s always been a very good student, and she\u2019s been interested in Spanish, and so I would often help her,\u201d Ben revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em><\/a> in March 2020. \u201cNow, all of a sudden, she\u2019s gotten into the grade where she\u2019s, like, in the harder Spanish classes and she\u2019s getting better.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He added, \u201cShe\u2019s right at the point where I think she might be passing me<\/a>,\u201d and Ben wasn\u2019t about to let that occur.<\/p>\n \u201cI was like, \u2018Nope. This is not happening,\u2019\u201d he laughed. \u201cI don\u2019t mind that I can\u2019t do your math homework when you\u2019re 14 years old, but you are not going to be better at Spanish than me. So, I\u2019ve decided now I gotta take classes; I gotta do something to keep up.\u201d<\/p>\n Fortunately, Ben and Jen \u2014 who split in 2015<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 haven\u2019t had to worry about boys yet when it comes to their gorgeous teenage daughter<\/a>. \u201cAll I know is she\u2019s on Zoom school, she goes to an all-girls school \u2014 we haven\u2019t had to deal with that yet,\u201d Jen revealed to\u00a0Hoda Kotb<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0Today Show<\/em><\/a>\u00a0on December 1, 2020, which also was Violet\u2019s milestone 15th birthday. Jennifer revealed she was \u201cfull of all the feels today \u2014 my daughter\u2019s birthday! It\u2019s more than I can handle!\u201d<\/p>\n Jennifer and Violet have always been particularly close, as not only do they look alike, but they also both are often seen glued at the hip. The\u00a0Yes Day<\/i>\u00a0actress has always been there encouraging Violet\u2019s academic endeavors, as well as just being each other\u2019s best pals.<\/p>\n The teen also has a precious bond with her stepmother, <\/span>Jennifer Lopez<\/b><\/a>, ever since her dad wed the superstar in July 2022. After the couple said \u201cI Do\u201d during a private Las Vegas wedding ceremony, the joint family embarked on a European summer, in which Violet and J. Lo\u2019s close relationship was highlighted in pictures obtained by <\/span>Life & Style<\/span><\/i>.
