After receiving the first impression rose, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/jenn-trans-bachelorette-contestant-sam-m-talks-tough-elimination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sam was later eliminated<\/a> after struggling to answer questions about the lead outside of their physical connection.<\/p>\n<p>Sam then headed to the beach on season 10 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/bachelor-in-paradises-kat-and-dales-relationship-timeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> the following year,<\/a> where Alli Jo also appeared after not finding love with <strong>Grant Ellis<\/strong> on season 29 of <em>The Bachelor<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I got asked to do Paradise and I was single at that point in my life \u2026 possibly,\u201d Alli Jo exclusively told <em>Us Weekly<\/em> in 2025 about possibly joining the series. \u201cWe will see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Sam and Alli Jo did not find love on the show, the pair later established a romance outside of romance \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/bachelor-in-paradises-sam-mckinney-and-alli-jo-hard-launch-romance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which they hard-launched<\/a> via social media in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to see a timeline of Alli Jo and Sam\u2019s relationship:<\/p>\n<h2>July 2025<\/h2>\n<p>In a joint Instagram post shared in July 2025, Alli Jo and Sam confirmed their romance. \u201cSometimes\u2026 You just gotta do it your damn self,\u201d they captioned a post, alongside photos of the pair cuddled up. \u201cBe a force and #StayRelentless.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>April 2026<\/h2>\n<p>In a sweet social media post, Alli Jo reflected on leaving to film <em>Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> one year prior \u2014 where she hoped to meet Sam.<\/p>\n<div id=\"news-block\">\n<div class=\"newsletter-form  \">\n\t<br \/>\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/wp-content\/themes\/us-weekly\/assets\/img\/newsletter-bg-wide.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"newsletter-form__background background-wide\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"newsletter-signup__success\" aria-live=\"polite\">\n<h3>Thank You!<\/h3>\n<p>You have successfully subscribed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cCrazy to think a year ago today we were leaving to film <em>Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>. Because that\u2019s exactly how I felt, played. BUT on the other hand, it led me to meeting you in real time, in real life, writing our own real story.
