It was bewildering.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Image Credit: The New York Post\/YouTube)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-and-we-ll-have-a-threesome\">\u2018And we\u2019ll have a threesome\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>On Wednesday, July 1, Donald Trump made remarks at the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>As is his habit, he ad libbed stream-of-consciousness commentary on whatever crossed his mind.<\/p>\n<p>When mentioned that Teddy Roosevelt and his son were almost the only father-son pair to earn the Medal of Honor in wartime, a thought surfaced that he simply could not resist sharing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcept for Arthur and Douglas MacArthur \u2026 they\u2019re the only father and son pair to receive our nation\u2019s highest military award for courage above and beyond the call of duty,\u201d Trump noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, as I see my two beautiful sons sitting there,\u201d Trump stated. \u201cI think I\u2019m going to give one to myself, one to them, and we\u2019ll have a threesome.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Trump drops unintentionally risque &#039;threesome&#039; quip about himself, his sons and military honor\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TZvDJFWUI4g?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>As you can imagine (actually, you don\u2019t have to imagine, as you can hear it for yourself), this resulted in gasps of shock from the audience.<\/p>\n<p>Famously, Trump did not serve in the military in any capacity. These glittering awards appear to mollify him, albeit temporarily.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and members of his regime have spent a year and a half participating in what feels like a ritual desecration of our nation, from his gold-embossed Oval Office to the demolished East Wing to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/06\/josh-hokit-slanders-michelle-obama-white-house-ufc-fight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fighting pit on the White House lawn<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/06\/donald-trump-painted-reflecting-pool-algae-conspiracy-theories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Greenwater reflecting pool scandal<\/a> and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>For now, at least, the Medal of Honor is safe from losing all meaning.
