Off Campus<\/em><\/a> creator Louisa Levy<\/strong> hinted that season 2 will leave viewers emotional as book fans await a potential onscreen death.<\/p>\n

Levy teased the next season at Obsessed Fest on Saturday, June 27, where she mentioned there would be \u201clots of tears\u201d in store for the audience. While Levy didn\u2019t specify, fans of Elle Kennedy<\/strong>\u2018s book series know that (spoiler alert!) a loved one of Dean\u2019s (Stephen Kalyn<\/strong>) doesn\u2019t survive.<\/a><\/p>\n

Off Campus<\/em> follows an elite ice hockey team<\/a> \u2014 and the women in their lives \u2014 as they \u201cgrapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery \u2014 forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,\u201d per the show\u2019s official synopsis.<\/p>\n

Season 1, which premiered in May, was centered on Hannah (Ella Bright<\/strong>) and Garrett\u2019s (Belmont Cameli<\/strong>) love story.<\/p>\n

Going by Kennedy\u2019s book order, Logan\u2019s (Antonio Cipriano<\/strong>) story was expected to be next, followed by Dean\u2019s (Kalyn) and Tucker\u2019s (Jalen Thomas Brooks<\/strong>). News broke, however, that Dean and Allie (Mika Abdalla<\/strong>) would be leading season 2 in a surprising shakeup.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEven though we do tease Dean and Allie a lot earlier than people expect, you are still left wanting a lot more,\u201d Abdalla exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in May. \u201cAnd that\u2019s something I\u2019m really excited about. You just want to see more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abdalla explained that the show wanted to \u201cstay true to a lot\u201d of Allie and Dean\u2019s love story.<\/p>\n

\u201cAllie and Hannah\u2019s story lines are so connected to one another that it just made a lot of sense to touch on that this season,\u201d she said about the extended focus on Allie and Dean throughout season 1. \u201cAll the books, they build off of each other and they\u2019re all connected. It didn\u2019t really make sense to not include certain elements from the other books in this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Prime Video announced the season 2 leads<\/a>, Bright, 19, and Cameli, 28, revealed if they planned to return in future seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI totally understand your concern,\u201d Cameli exclusively told Us<\/em> about each season being focused on a different couple. \u201cWe will be along for the ride the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bright confirmed the plan<\/a> is for them to be \u201csticking\u201d around, with Cameli adding, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to see what season 2 holds for [us].\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo gushed over their strong offscreen bond.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoing a job like this would be so miserable if you didn\u2019t like your costar,\u201d Cameli shared. \u201cWe are so lucky. Ella and I are really, really good friends. We get along so well and we spend a ton of time together on set.\u201d<\/p>\n
