It is very promising that Glover is currently able to hold conversations and explain the disease himself.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Exclusive: Danny Glover Opens up About Alzheimer\u2019s Diagnosis\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vwSwiv5NDsA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Glover admitted to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/danny-glover-opens-up-alzheimers-diagnosis-79-life-continues-exclusive-12010257\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">People<\/a><\/em> that this grim diagnosis \u2014 of a fatal disease that will only get worse \u2014 has been difficult to process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m still not accepting in my mind all parts of it,\u201d he acknowledged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are the moments that you keep remembering that validate the fact that you can remember stuff,\u201d Glover shared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd,\u201d he added aspirationally, \u201cthere are moments I\u2019ll never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We hope that he is right. Not all Alzheimer\u2019s cases progress in the same way.
