2 July 2026<\/time>\n <\/p>\nTom Hardy will be returning to MobLand.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nTom Hardy will return to Mobland<\/p>\nThe 48-year-old actor was expected to be dropped from the third season of the Paramount+ crime drama, in which he plays fixer Harry Da Souza, following reports he had “clashed with producers”, but he recently sat down for clear-the-air talks with bosses.<\/p>\nAccording to Deadline, Tom, showrunner Jez Butterworth, executive producer David Glasser, and MobLand creator Ronan Barrett met in London to agree a way forward.<\/p>\nIn addition, executive producer Guy Ritchie, who has directed a number of episodes, played a part in the negotiations, which resulted in “a great understanding about a path forward”.<\/p>\n \t\t\t<\/p>\nMobLand season two is slated to premiere later this year, but hasn’t formally been renewed for a third installment, though production is expected to start in the autumn.<\/p>\n\nIt was claimed in May that producers had grown tired of the way Tom behaved on set.<\/p>\n\nThe Puck newsletter reported: \u201cI\u2019m told Paramount recently opted not to pick up Hardy for season three after his clashes with producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser, among others, during the recent production of season two.<\/p>\n\n“Hardy was apparently late to set a bunch, constantly asked to give notes on scripts, attempted to change dialogue, and expressed his displeasure that a series initially built around him was increasingly becoming an ensemble showcase for Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, and other co-stars.”<\/p>\n\nFollowing the report, his co-star, Dame Helen Mirren, 80, insisted she would work with Tom again “in a f****** heartbeat”.<\/p>\n\nAsked by Variety if she would want to continue working with Tom, she said at the Taormina Film Festival in Italy: \u201cAbsolutely. In a f****** heartbeat.<\/p>\n\n\u201cI love Tom. I think he\u2019s the most amazing actor. I\u2019ve always loved him on screen and different actors have different processes. I\u2019ve learned over the years that some people get things fast and other people took time.<\/p>\n\n\u201cAs long as what\u2019s on the screen is fantastic, I\u2019m totally chilled with whatever, however anyone gets there. Tom is a very special person. He\u2019s got the kindest heart\u2026 I think he\u2019s absolutely remarkable.
