\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Taylor Sheridan<\/strong><\/a> is explaining his Sons of Anarchy<\/em><\/strong><\/a> exit.<\/p>\n The show, which centers around a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in fictional California town Charming, aired on FX from 2008 to 2014. Taylor<\/strong> appeared in the first two seasons before deciding he was leaving the series. His character was written off and killed in the first episode of Season 3.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve taken my beatings,\u201d the 56-year-old actor and producer began to explain of his time in Hollywood in a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s the worst beating you ever took? Who said something that really was just out of line?\u201d Howard <\/strong>asked.<\/p>\n \u201cThe worst beating, which is also the greatest gift that I ever got: Season 2 of Sons of Anarchy<\/em> had ended and it\u2019s a very successful cable show. I\u2019m an actor on this show making scale, making like, you know, there\u2019s two dudes on the friggin DVD. One is Charlie Hunnam<\/strong>, who was the star, who\u2019s a great guy, and me. We\u2019re it,\u201d Taylor<\/strong> explained.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I\u2019m literally would leave the set of that show and go to my other job \u2018cause I didn\u2019t make enough on that show to pay my rent and live, so after Season 2, I told him, I said, \u2018Guys, I\u2019m not coming back and doing this again for this price. I\u2019m just not doing it. I want what the other 14 people\u2026not even asking for what Charlie<\/strong> gets or Katey [Sagal]<\/strong>\u00a0or Ron Perlman<\/strong>. I just want what the other 11 guys are getting,\u2019 and they couldn\u2019t do it and what the other guys were getting, by the way, it\u2019s a 13-episode show. They\u2019re getting $20,000 an episode before taxes, before agents, before everything. We\u2019re not talking about an exorbitant amount of money.\u201d<\/p>\n Howard<\/strong> noted: \u201cAnd you would think they hit the home run of all time. They\u2019re millionaires or something. That\u2019s hardly a millionaire.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo, especially not in LA, and they offered me 15. They said, \u2018We\u2019ll give you 15 and we\u2019ll guarantee you 10 episodes. That\u2019s all you\u2019re getting.\u2019 And I do the math on it and I\u2019m and I said, \u2018That\u2019s not a raise. What is that?\u2019 And I said, \u2018No,’\u201d Taylor<\/strong> explained.<\/p>\n
