Master P<\/strong><\/a> is trying to keep it in the family when it comes to who will play him in Snoop Dogg<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s upcoming biopic.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son\u2019s going out for the role to play me in the Snoop<\/em> movie,\u201d Master P, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while attending the 2026 BET Awards<\/a> on Sunday, June 28, referring to the 2027 movie about Snoop Dogg\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

The music mogul (real name Percy Robert Miller Sr.) noted that when his son started to prepare for the audition, the producers told him about trying to channel his \u201cquiet power.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t do a lot of screaming and all that, but I do make my presence felt,\u201d Master P teased.<\/p>\n

When asked how someone can \u201ctap into that level of confidence,\u201d Master P advised his son \u2014 and fans \u2014 to \u201cjust believe in yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDo the right thing and put your trust and faith in God,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo you don\u2019t have to do all that screaming when you know God got you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Master P didn\u2019t reveal which of his sons is attempting to play him on the big screen<\/a>, but there are many to choose from.<\/p>\n

The \u201cMr. Ice Cream Man\u201d rapper is the father of nine children<\/a>, including seven he shares with ex-wife Sonya C<\/strong>. Master P and Sonya C, 58, were married from 1989 to 2014.<\/p>\n

Master P\u2019s eldest child, son Romeo<\/strong><\/a>, is probably his best known offspring. Born in 1989, Romeo has followed in his father\u2019s footsteps, releasing five albums of his own.<\/p>\n

In addition to Romeo, 36, Master P shares Vercy<\/strong>, born in 1991, Tytyana<\/strong>, born in 1992, Inty<\/strong>, born in 1993, Itali<\/strong>, born in 1999, Hercy<\/strong>, born in 2002, and Mercy<\/strong>, born in 2005. (The musician\u2019s daughter Tytyana died in May 2022<\/a> at the age of 29 after struggling with substance abuse and mental illness.)<\/p>\n

Master P is also the father of Veno<\/strong>, born in 1991, and Cymphonique<\/strong>, born in 1996, from other relationships.<\/p>\n

Outside of Romeo, who has acted in films<\/a> like Honey<\/em> and had his own Nickelodeon series, Romeo!<\/em>, Master P\u2019s son Hercy, 24, has recently been thrust into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

After getting hurt amid his college basketball career, Hercy filmed season 1 of Netflix\u2019s Calabasas Confidential<\/em><\/a>, which premiered in May. Hercy is also an influencer and the founder of Fearless Dreamer clothing.<\/p>\n

His younger brother, Mercy, 20, has since carried on the basketball legacy, playing for the University of Houston.<\/p>\n

Master P\u2019s other two sons, Vercy and Veno, both 34, also have acting credits to their name.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unknown whether any of Master P\u2019s kids will land the role in the upcoming biopic, the rapper is just happy to have his children in his world.<\/p>\n
