\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n LeBron James<\/strong><\/a> is saying goodbye to the Los Angeles Lakers after eight years with the team. <\/p>\n The 41-year-old basketball player is planning on playing in the upcoming 2026-2027 NBA season, but his agent Rich Paul<\/strong><\/a> has informed the Lakers that he won\u2019t be playing for them. <\/p>\n James<\/strong> will become a free agent at 6pm ET on Tuesday (June 30) and ESPN<\/a> reports that the Golden State Warriors will pursue him. <\/p>\n James<\/strong> going to the Warriors would lead to an all-star team led by him and Steph Curry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n ESPN is also reporting that the Warriors are looking for a \u201cpossible trade with the Washington Wizards for Anthony Davis<\/strong>,\u201d which would reunited him with James<\/strong> after they played on the Lakers together.<\/p>\n For those who don\u2019t know, James<\/strong> already holds the record for most NBA seasons played by any athlete, currently with 23 seasons.
