Off Campus<\/em><\/a> star Mika Abdalla<\/strong> teased how season 2 will differ from Elle Kennedy<\/strong>\u2018s The Score<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201c[It\u2019s the] same as season 1 [where] season 1 didn\u2019t exactly follow the books,\u201d Abdalla, 26, shared on the Tuesday, June 30, episode of the \u201cHey Jonas!\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s some new fun stuff and some fun new little things that we\u2019re adding in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the Off-Campus<\/em> book series by Kennedy, 44, the hit Prime Video show follows an elite ice hockey team<\/a> \u2014 and the women in their lives. Season 1, which premiered in May, was centered around Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett\u2019s (Belmont Cameli) love story.<\/p>\n

Going off Kennedy\u2019s book order, Logan\u2019s (Antonio Cipriano) story was expected to be next, then Dean\u2019s (Stephen Kalyn) before Tucker\u2019s (Jalen Thomas Brooks) turn. News broke, however, that Dean and Allie (Abdalla) would be leading season 2 in a shakeup.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though we do tease Dean and Allie a lot earlier than people expect, you are still left wanting a lot more,\u201d Abdalla exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in May. \u201cAnd that\u2019s something I\u2019m really excited about. You just want to see more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abdalla explained that the show wanted to \u201cstay true to a lot<\/a>\u201d of Allie and Dean\u2019s love story.<\/p>\n

\u201cAllie and Hannah\u2019s story lines are so connected to one another that it just made a lot of sense to touch on that this season,\u201d she said about the extended focus on Allie and Dean throughout season 1. \u201cAll the books, they build off of each other and they\u2019re all connected. It didn\u2019t really make sense to not include certain elements from the other books in this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Prime Video announced the next leads<\/a>, Bright, 19, and Cameli, 28, revealed if they planned to return in future seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI totally understand your concern,\u201d Cameli exclusively told Us Weekly about each season of the Prime Video show being focused on a different fictional couple. \u201cWe will be along for the ride the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bright confirmed the plan is for them to be \u201csticking\u201d around before Cameli added, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to see what season 2 holds for [us].\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo gushed over their strong offscreen bond.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cDoing a job like this would be so miserable if you didn\u2019t like your costar,\u201d Cameli shared. \u201cWe are so lucky. Ella and I are really, really good friends. We get along so well and we spend a ton of time together on set.\u201d<\/p>\n
