I was like, \u2018Wait, why is that hot?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shay Mitchell\u2019s character\u2019s early storyline was being an at-first closeted but soon out character on the teen drama series.<\/p>\n<p>Layla admitted that she didn\u2019t have much in the way of \u201cqueer representation\u201d in her real life. Closeted people find out folks and other closeted individuals as safer to be around until they\u2019re comfortable coming out.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Layla also shared that she didn\u2019t give her fellow The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives castmates a head\u2019s up before her podcast. <\/p>\n<p>She\u2019ll talk to them in person when she next sees them. But she figured that this wasn\u2019t really <em>quick text<\/em> material.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations, Layla!
