Yellowstone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s spinoff Dutton Ranch<\/em> has just gotten started but has there already been talks about when it will end?<\/p>\n Kelly Reilly <\/strong>and Cole Hauser<\/strong> weighed in on the plan<\/a> for the hit Paramount+ series, telling The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> earlier this month that they were both interested in returning for multiple seasons.<\/p>\n \u201cIf the writing is good. You never want to hold on too tightly in this profession, right?\u201d Reilly, 48, said. \u201cSo honestly, we\u2019re very grateful to be here and if we get a chance to keep making something we\u2019re proud of, then we\u2019re here. If not, we\u2019re both working actors and we\u2019ll be fine.\u201d<\/p>\n Hauser, 51, called it \u201cpretty cool\u201d to keep going, adding, \u201cI always feel like if the audience continues to speak the way that they have about the show for the last 10 years or so, then I would love to continue to entertain them.\u201d<\/p>\n Paramount+\u2019s hit franchise started with Yellowstone<\/em>, which premiered in 2018 and introduced viewers to the fictional Dutton family. Fans got to know their characters, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler<\/a>, who had a decades-long relationship that endures peaks and pitfalls, on the hit series. The show came to an end in 2024, expanding its universe with Luke Grimes\u2019 CBS show Marshals<\/em> and Dutton Ranch<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe haven\u2019t heard five [seasons]. I think we\u2019re taking it one season at a time,\u201d Reilly told the outlet before Hauser noted, \u201cThis has been a beast. We haven\u2019t had any time to even think about it either. We literally filmed to the end of March and we\u2019ve been on the road selling the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Reilly hinted there was a story step up \u2014 at least for season 2.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we have some ideas about season 2, with where we left season 1,\u201d she shared. \u201cWe can\u2019t talk about the ending, but we\u2019re super excited about where it goes and so we already know sort of where the beginning is and that\u2019s exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n Season 2 is expected to look a bit different, however, after Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that Chad Feehan<\/strong> will not return as showrunner<\/a> after completing work on season 1. Puck News previously reported that Feehan stepped away from Dutton Ranch<\/em> after alleged friction with series stars Hauser and Reilly, among others.<\/p>\n \u201cShowrunners change all the time,\u201d Hauser told The Hollywood Reporter. \u201cThis business is about adapting.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cWe\u2019ve been doing this for a long time. Things change. People move on.\u201d<\/p>\n
