John Cena<\/strong><\/a> is looking a little different as he prepares to undergo a second hair transplant.<\/p>\n

The WWE<\/a> wrestler-turned-actor shared a photo via X<\/a> on Monday, June 29, showing off his newly shaved head.<\/p>\n

\u201cRound 2 of FUE treatment, and this time I went all in for best possible results,\u201d he wrote alongside the photo, which also features his doctor. \u201cThank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!\u201d<\/p>\n

Follicular unit excision (FUE) treatment is a hair transplant procedure that involves taking \u201cindividual follicular units (natural clusters of hairs grouped in 1-4 hairs each) from the back of the head and at times from the beard and other body regions\u201d and transplanting them \u201ctypically back into balding areas of the scalp or other areas of the body as aesthetically needed,\u201d according to the medical nonprofit organization The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery<\/a> (ISHRS).<\/p>\n

Cena, 49, first confirmed he underwent a hair transplant in April 2025<\/a> during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s another headline for ya: hair transplant,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s no shame in that, man. I got a problem, I tried to fix it. I\u2019m working on it. I saw so many bald spot signs.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an August 2025 interview with People<\/em>, the 17-time WWE world champion said he decided to get a transplant after wrestling fans kept pointing out he had a bald spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw their signs that said \u2018The bald John Cena,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cThey pushed me into going to see what my options were. I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner \u2014 and I also got a hair transplant last November. I hate the fact that if there wasn\u2019t so much shame around it, I\u2019d have gotten it done 10 years ago. I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness.\u201d<\/p>\n
