Liam Payne<\/a> for two years until his tragic death in October 2024 and revealed she had “recently met someone” but their romance was short-lived.<\/p>\nShe said in a TikTok video: “I got dumped you guys. I feel like things were moving super fast, if you know me you know I have a tendency of moving fast<\/p>\n
\n“Let’s just call this guy Joe. Joe was really sweet and a lot of things I wanted in a guy. He’s super low-key so he doesn’t have any social media, which I actually really liked.<\/p>\n
\n“I met his family, he took me on trips, things were going really well, really quick. I f***** up”.<\/p>\n
\nKate admitted she would “get angry” with Joe when he didn’t behave like Liam and the guy eventually found her attitude “too much”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Dating after losing somebody that you genuinely thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with is really tough because I physically look for Liam in every single guy that I meet.<\/p>\n
\n“If they don’t hit all the checkmarks I tend to, either back away or almost resent this person, and it’s so crazy.<\/p>\n
\n“There were certain times where I would get so angry with this guy, because I would physically get like, ‘Oh well Liam would do this so why aren’t you doing this?’<\/p>\n
\n“Or he would do something and I would be like, ‘Liam would never do that’. <\/p>\n
\n“He texted me yesterday and told me we should go our separate ways because it’s just too much, and I understand.<\/p>\n
\n“‘I feel sad because I don’t like losing people and I feel like especially in the beginning of a situationship it’s so fun and you’re so excited to see where it goes.”<\/p>\n
\nThe social media personality has been open about her grief for the Strip That Down artist – who died after he fell from his hotel balcony in Argentina – but revealed in April that she was ready to begin dating once again.<\/p>\n
\nKate said in an Instagram video: “I am ready to start dating again. It has been a year and a half since Liam passed away.<\/p>\n
\n“I think that love after loss is a big chapter within your grief journey and I don’t know how that is going to feel. But I do know that I loved being in love.<\/p>\n
\n“I want to have kids one day, I want to have a family and I know Liam would want that for me and if the roles were reversed I would want him to be happy and fall in love again.<\/p>\n
\n“I will always love Liam and that will never change no matter who I meet and who comes into my life.<\/p>\n
\n“I am going to think about Liam on my wedding day, I am going to think about him everyday for the rest of my life and that goes without saying.”<\/p>\n
