RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season 11 almost featured a different queen in the purple bracket!<\/p>\n

Utica<\/strong>, from RuPaul’s Drag Race<\/em> season 13, was originally supposed to be a contestant on the current season of All Stars<\/em> but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

The queen who replaced her was also just revealed to be advancing to the semi-finals!<\/p>\n

Why Utica had to drop out of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 11<\/em><\/h3>\n

“I really did try to make it happen, but unfortunately it just wasn\u2019t possible in the end because of\u00a0Project Runway<\/em>\u00a0interviews leading up to the season,” Utica<\/strong> told Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>. “Filming of\u00a0All\u00a0Stars <\/em>was right after filming of\u00a0Project Runway<\/em>\u00a0and before the airing of [Project Runway<\/em>]. I was originally casted with\u00a0Joey [Jay]<\/strong>\u00a0as sisters [from season 13], but\u00a0Sam Star<\/strong>\u00a0took my spot last minute.”<\/p>\n

“It would\u2019ve been a hell of a turnaround to make it happen, but I\u2019m very much enjoying watching this season and being there for my sisters along the way!” Utica<\/strong> added.<\/p>\n

If you recall, Utica<\/strong>, whose real name is Ethan Mundt<\/strong>, competed on Project Runway<\/em> season 21. The season aired last summer, and Ethan<\/strong> was a runner-up alongside Jesus Estrada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jasmine Kennedie<\/strong>, who has advanced to the semi-finals, confirmed Utica<\/strong> was the one who dropped out, and says she was relieved. <\/p>\n

“I’m going to be honest, I was so happy I found she dropped out because I wouldn’t have advanced if she was there,”\u00a0Jasmine <\/strong>told EW<\/em>. “I wouldn’t have been in the top of the sewing [challenge].”<\/p>\n

“You would not have won that first [sewing challenge],” Shuga Cain<\/strong> echoed.<\/p>\n

Who has advanced to the semi-finals on All Stars 11<\/em>?<\/h3>\n

After Friday’s (June 26) episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars<\/em> season 11, it was revealed that the following queens have advanced to the semi-finals: A’keria C Davenport<\/strong> and Dawn<\/strong> for the orange bracket, Crystal Methyd<\/strong> and Silky Nutmeg Ganache<\/strong> for the pink bracket, and Jasmine Kennedie<\/strong>, Kennedy Davenport<\/strong>, and Sam Star<\/strong> for the purple bracket.<\/p>\n

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Morgan McMichaels<\/strong>, Salina EsTitties<\/strong> and Joey Jay<\/strong> were entered into the wild card for a final spot in the semi-finals. The queen who wins that spot will be revealed next week, on Friday (July 3)!<\/p>\n
