\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n David Duchovny<\/strong><\/a> had a very unexpected courtside bonding moment with Shaquille O\u2019Neal<\/strong><\/a>, but he\u2019s still waiting on the friendship to officially happen.<\/p>\n The X-Files<\/em> actor is the latest guest to appear on Hot Ones<\/em>, where he looked back at a Lakers game that ended with Shaq<\/strong> leaving the bench to sit beside him after Los Angeles had pulled far ahead.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a highlight. I have the picture. I have it framed. I look like a child next to Shaq<\/strong>. I look like a little baby next to Shaq<\/strong>,\u201d David<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n He recalled that Shaq<\/strong> first sent word through a ball boy that he didn\u2019t watch The X-Files<\/em> when David<\/strong> wasn\u2019t on it, leading David<\/strong> to send back, \u201ctell him I don\u2019t watch the Lakers when he\u2019s injured.\u201d<\/p>\n After Shaq<\/strong> sat next to him later in the game, the Californication<\/em> star joked, \u201cAnd I\u2019m like me and Shaq<\/strong> are gonna be friends now, look at this.\u201d<\/p>\n Sadly, the friendship didn\u2019t fully take off.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, Shaq<\/strong>, I\u2019m still here,\u201d David<\/strong> joked.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the episode, David<\/strong> shared memories from MTV Rock N\u2019 Jock<\/em>, including wanting to beat Reggie Miller<\/strong><\/a> before the NBA star asked for a photo.
