Jane Seymour<\/a> thinks the short-lived romance between her and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman co-star Joe Lando \u201csaved\u201d their relationship. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Jane Seymour talks brief co-star romance<\/p>\n
Lando starred as outdoorsman Bryan Sully on the show from 1993 to 1998, with Jane in the titular role, and their friendship quickly developed into a relationship off screen.<\/p>\n
It was brief, however, with Jane admitting in a TikTok video that it was Joe\u2019s decision for them to \u201cjust be friends\u201d. <\/p>\n
She added to her co-star: \u201cI think it was your choice. I was a little sad. <\/p>\n
\u201cBut then I also did the match and I realised that you had planned to have a life that didn\u2019t include suddenly having two other children.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAt the time, Jane had two children with her third husband Dylan Flynn, while Joe has four kids with his wife Kirsten Barlow.<\/p>\n
\nBut speaking about their strong friendship, Jane continued: \u201cI think, actually, the fact that we did not end up having a relationship saved our relationship.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe best part of our relationship, we\u2019ve kept and grown up, which is that we really, genuinely adore each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cJoe has a fabulous wife and I have a pretty good man in my life!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJane recently announced her engagement to John Zambetti, as she told Us Weekly: \u201cSomeone decided they wanted to be with me for the rest of their lives. My singer-songwriter.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe also told Page Six: \u201c(I\u2019m) still writing music and now I have become his muse. So now I have a singer-songwriter in the house, which is amazing.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nJane\u2019s engagement is set to lead to what will be her fifth marriage.\u00a0 She was previously married to theatre director Michael Attenborough, author Geoffrey Planer, business manager David Flynn and actor-director James Keach.<\/p>\n
\nJane has enjoyed a career spanning more than five decades, becoming a household name through Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman before continuing to work steadily across film and television.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
\nMore recently she has found renewed success with Harry Wild, the crime drama in which she plays a retired literature professor who becomes an amateur detective. <\/p>\n
\nSpeaking about her current projects, Jane said: \u201cI\u2019m on a show that I love, Harry Wild, my fifth season. \u201cWho has a series when they\u2019re 75? Nobody. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m starting a great movie in Australia later this year, I\u2019ve got a one-woman art show in New Jersey, my family is great, I\u2019m surrounded by music.\u201d<\/p>\n
