\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Miranda Kerr<\/strong><\/a> and Evan Spiegel<\/strong><\/a> are helping wipe out a massive amount of medical debt.<\/p>\n The couple announced in an Instagram video shared on Friday (June 26) that they have partnered with Undue Medical Debt to relieve unpaid medical debt for more than 250,000 people in California.<\/p>\n \u201cHey everybody, Evan<\/strong> and Miranda<\/strong> here,\u201d Evan<\/strong>, 35, said in the clip. \u201cAnd today we are so excited because we\u2019re announcing a partnership with\u00a0Undue Medical Debt\u00a0to relieve over half a billion dollars of unpaid medical debt for more than 250,000 Californians.\u201d<\/p>\n Miranda<\/strong>, 43, said they decided to speak publicly because people who are part of the effort will soon receive letters notifying them that their medical debt has been erased. <\/p>\n \u201cIf you happen to receive a letter in the mail letting you know that your medical debt has been forgiven, we want you to know, it\u2019s real,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Evan<\/strong> added that medical debt \u201ccan be a burden\u201d long after a health crisis is over, while Miranda<\/strong> said the goal is to let families focus on caring for their loved ones.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen someone you love is sick, all you want to do is focus on helping them get better,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \n<\/center><\/p>\n The pair also noted that there was no application on paperwork process required.<\/p>\n Miranda<\/strong> and Evan<\/strong> tied the knot in 2017 and share sons Hart<\/strong>, Myles<\/strong>, and Pierre<\/strong>.
