\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n KATSEYE<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about the absence of original member Manon Bannerman<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The 23-year-old Swiss-Ghanaian entertainer was announced to be taking a temporary hiatus<\/a> from the girl group back in February, and has yet to return to group activities. <\/p>\n Since her hiatus announcement, the group has continued with the remaining five members \u2013 Daniela Avanzini<\/strong>, Lara Raj<\/strong>, Megan Skiendiel<\/strong>, Sophia Laforteza<\/strong>, and Yoonchae<\/strong> \u2013 including awards show appearances, performing at Coachella, and more. <\/p>\n Now, four months later, the ladies of KATSEYE<\/strong> are speaking out about Manon<\/strong>\u2018s continued hiatus and give an update on plans for her return. <\/p>\n \u201cBecause we did announce that it is about her well-being, it\u2019s not our place or anybody else\u2019s place to rush her,\u201d Sophia<\/strong> tells Allure<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWe want to give her all the time that she needs, all the space that she needs, and so we don\u2019t want to make any assumptions, set anything in stone\u2026 She really deserves that and the door is always open.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe love her and the fans love her. The people love her. They love KATSEYE<\/strong>,\u201d she continued. \u201cIf I was in their place I would be asking too, and so we understand. But what we can say is that we wish that you could just keep extending love and support and patience and all those things, because all of us deserve that. Anybody does.\u201d<\/p>\n Allure<\/em> notes that KATSEYE<\/strong> still refers to themselves as a group of six.<\/p>\n The last update we\u2019ve had about Manon<\/strong>\u2018s hiatus was back in April. <\/p>\n \u201cThank you so much for all the love and support you\u2019ve been sending my way. I\u2019m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time,\u201d she reportedly said<\/a> through Weverse DMs. \u201cHxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported.
