Love Island USA<\/em><\/a> bombshell Alannah Keyser<\/strong> was officially removed from Casa Amor after her screen time was reduced over a racism scandal.<\/a><\/p>\n

Peacock confirmed Alannah\u2019s departure during the Thursday, June 25, episode of the show. Alannah recently faced backlash off screen for a resurfaced video that allegedly showed her using a racial slur. After her debut, social media users quickly took to all platforms to share a video where a woman appeared to use the N-word while singing along to a song.<\/p>\n

The video and posts were not shared publicly until after Alannah\u2019s appearance on the show and thus were not accessible during the vetting process.<\/p>\n

Amid the scandal, Alannah\u2019s friend Nick Rogers<\/strong> spoke out about the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is very caring and the nicest person ever. She has never exhibited any racist traits around me at all,\u201d Nick said via TikTok on Monday, June 22. \u201cI have never once considered the fact that Alannah would be someone who\u2019d be racist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick claimed news screenshots of Alannah\u2019s past correspondences that have since been circulating online are \u201cfake,\u201d adding, \u201cI just can\u2019t imagine, me knowing Alannah, her posting that on social media. And we all know with this AI and everything like that, it could be very easy for these types of scenarios to be manipulated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick went on to explain why he was publicly defending Alannah.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI looked at the video myself, and I cannot tell whether she is saying the N-word or not,\u201d he added. \u201cThat is a very touchy subject that I know \u2026 has been a big conversation over the years and obviously I do agree that it is very inappropriate for someone who is not a person of color or Black to use that word.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick noted, however, that \u201cit was a different time\u201d when the video was filmed. \u201cIf we\u2019re being completely honest, that word was used a lot more freely in past years, like around 2017, 2016, it was kind of a thing,\u201d he continued. \u201cI grew up in a high school that was very diverse, and a lot of people said the word. It doesn\u2019t make it right, but I just wanted to come on here and state my side of the story.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cI think Alannah is a great person, and I would not use any of this information that could be false in order to make a predetermined judgment of her character.\u201d<\/p>\n
