Angelina Jolie<\/a>, 51, ending more than eight years of legal proceedings, and after the actor recently spoke publicly about both the settlement and his relationship with Ines while promoting his Formula One film F1.<\/p>\nA source told Page Six: \u201cInes is incredibly close with Brad\u2019s family. They absolutely adore her and she\u2019s been welcomed with open arms from the beginning.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAt this point they basically consider her family and one of their own.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe insider added: \u201cBut Brad has no plans on getting married despite how close Ines has become with everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAccording to the source, Ines has developed genuine relationships with Brad\u2019s wider family since the pair began dating.<\/p>\n
\nThe insider added: \u201cInes and Brad\u2019s family keep in touch regularly and genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It never feels like she\u2019s \u2018Brad\u2019s girlfriend.\u2019 She\u2019s just part of the family when they\u2019re together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe source also said: \u201c(Ines has) built real relationships with everyone. She spends time with Brad\u2019s brother and sister, nieces and nephews, attends family gatherings and has made an effort to get to know each of them individually.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey text and keep in touch outside of Brad, which says a lot about how close they\u2019ve become.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cInes is very down to earth and easy to be around. She\u2019ll sit around laughing and joking with everyone for hours and is completely comfortable in those settings. It doesn\u2019t feel forced at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe insider went on: \u201cPeople ask about her, include her in family plans and genuinely want her around. She\u2019s become a natural part of the family dynamic.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRepresentatives for Brad and Ines did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n
\nBrad and Angelina, who have six children \u2013 Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 \u2013 finalised their divorce in December 2024 after Jolie filed to dissolve their marriage in 2016.<\/p>\n
\nInes was previously married to The Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley. <\/p>\n
\nThe couple married in 2019 before separating in 2022.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to GQ while promoting F1, Brad dismissed suggestions reaching a divorce settlement had brought a sense of relief.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cNo, I don\u2019t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAsked whether making his first public appearance with Ines at a Formula One race had been carefully planned, Brad laughed and said: \u201cNo, dude, it\u2019s not that calculated.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cIf you\u2019re living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you\u2019re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nReflecting on life under constant public scrutiny, Brad said: \u201cMy personal life is always in the news. It\u2019s been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let\u2019s put it that way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPage Six also reported Brad\u2019s son Pax \u201cstill has a relationship with his dad\u2019s side of the family\u201d, although the outlet said he \u201cdoesn\u2019t have much of a relationship with Brad\u201d following his and Angelina\u2019s lengthy divorce proceedings. <\/p>\n
\nThe publication also reported several of Brad\u2019s children have distanced themselves from the actor and his surname in recent years.<\/p>\n
