They share legal and physical custody of their minor children (having welcomed 14 total).<\/p>\n<p>At first, they continued to live together out of convenience. However, it\u2019s reported that Karen moved out earlier this year \u2014 with things getting worse every since.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TLC\u2019s Karen Derrico Arrested After Allegedly Threatening to Kill Ex Deon Derrico | Oxygen\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n-BQyoxiGCY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Karen is charged with violating a temporary order for protection against domestic violence on June 17.<\/p>\n<p>Allegedly, she did this by \u201csending emails unrelated to parenting matters\u201d to Deon. This violates an order from family court, one that dates back to April.<\/p>\n<p>Karen is accused of \u201cwillfully, unlawfully, and knowingly\u201d threatening to cause bodily injury to Deon.<\/p>\n<p>This email reportedly caused him to possess \u201creasonable fear that the threat will be carried out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also allegedly attempted to interfere with him attending court, by way of further violent threats.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How Did The Derricos Ended Up Having 14 Children? | Doubling Down With The Derricos\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9ebCiasn4DM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-i-ll-kill-any-of-my-kids-if-they-take-your-side\">\u2018I\u2019ll kill any of my kids if they take your side\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cI want you dead,\u201d the alleged email read, according to the criminal complaint. \u201dI could kill you and it won\u2019t even bother me to go to jail and I\u2019ll kill any of my kids if they take your side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On May 2, she allegedly wrote \u201ctelling him to watch out, that she is getting a gun and\/or will have someone kill him before he can go to court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allegedly, Karen wrote in an email that \u201ckilling him would be easy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another sentence allegedly threatened that she \u201cwill see to it that he dies a slow death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those are some serious threats. But did Karen actually write them?<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Darian Wants to Move Out | Doubling Down With the Derricos | TLC\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T3sNzTDn90E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>It is important for us to emphasize that Karen has pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>She says that she would never threaten to harm her children.<\/p>\n<p>Her attorney, Jess Marchese, told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/24\/tlcs-karen-derrico-allegedly-threatened-to-kill-husband-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TMZ<\/a><\/em> that they believe that Deon wrote the emails to himself in order to frame her.<\/p>\n<p>The defense says that they were working with tech experts to prove it.<\/p>\n<p>Karen is out on $2,000 bond and wearing an ankle monitor.
