Reality TV romance sometimes has a notoriously short shelf life, but a handful of Bachelor Nation pairs<\/a> have defied the odds.<\/p>\n

From the franchise\u2019s earliest seasons through more recent installments, several couples turned their televised proposals into lasting marriages that have even crossed the decade milestone.<\/p>\n

Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter were the first Bachelor Nation couple to exchange vows in December 2003, with a reported 17 million viewers tuning in to watch the OG Bachelorette marry her final rose winner. The original Bachelorette and her firefighter beau remain the franchise\u2019s gold standard<\/span><\/a> for lasting love. After Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter got engaged on the 2003 finale, they tied the knot one year later in a TV special.<\/p>\n

More than two decades later, they share two children, Max and Blakesley, and credit honesty for keeping their romance strong.<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided going in that I needed to give myself wholeheartedly to the experience in order for it to work,\u201d Trista exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i> in 2020. \u201cI still believe that for anybody who\u2019s the lead, if a person is not willing to be vulnerable and willing to express themselves and be truly themselves without fear of criticism or skepticism or whatever, I don\u2019t think it\u2019ll work out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Few Bachelor<\/i> love stories were as chaotic as Jason Mesnick and Molly Maleney\u2019s ended up being. After being rejected by DeAnna Pappas on season 4 of The Bachelorette<\/i> in 2008, Jason was named the season 13 lead. He initially proposed to Melissa Rycroft, then famously changed his mind during the \u201cAfter the Final Rose\u201d taping in March 2009 to pursue runner-up Molly<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMelissa is a great girl, but there wasn\u2019t any chemistry,\u201d Jason told Us<\/i> at the time. \u201cSo I broke up with her after Christmas, about a month after we wrapped. Obviously, I didn\u2019t want it all on TV, but I had to take the chance if it meant getting [Molly] back. I\u2019d rather have picked up the phone, trust me!\u201d<\/p>\n

He proposed to Molly in October 2009. The couple wed in 2010 before welcoming daughter Riley. (Jason is also father of son Ty from a pre-Bachelor relationship.)<\/p>\n

Sean Lowe \u2014 once branded the \u201cVirgin Bachelor\u201d during his 2013 season after revealing he was a born-again virgin saving himself for marriage \u2014 found his match<\/span><\/a> in contestant Catherine Giudici. The two wed in 2014, going on to welcome sons Samuel and Isaiah, as well as daughter Mia.<\/p>\n

Sean and Catherine marked their 10th wedding anniversary in 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels like I\u2019ve reached a milestone,\u201d Lowe exclusively told Us<\/i> in May 2024. \u201cTen years, especially meeting in the crazy way that we met, I think that\u2019s worth celebrating.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bachelor Pad<\/i> season 2 winners got married in 2012 and faced a long road to parenthood. After a possible endometriosis diagnosis, unsuccessful IVF and IUI treatments and two pregnancy losses with a surrogate, Holly and Blake adopted baby Poppy in September 2019 through an open adoption.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s just so perfect,\u201d Holly told Us<\/i> exclusively<\/span><\/a> in October 2019. \u201cShe\u2019s so healthy and sweet, and it\u2019s just been the greatest thing that\u2019s ever happened to us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple connected with Poppy\u2019s birth mother through Instagram after being on a South Carolina agency waitlist since November 2018. Holly and Blake welcomed baby No. 2, son Knox, in 2023.<\/p>\n

After Brooks Forester quit the show during fantasy suite week, Desiree realized that Chris Siegfried had her heart all along<\/span><\/a>. Chris proposed during the August 2013 finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have been by my side from the very beginning \u2026 I thank you every day for never giving up,\u201d Desiree told Chris during the final rose ceremony. \u201cAnd you mean the absolute world to me. I love you. I love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
