Sarah Shahi makes kiss confession<\/p>\n
The Sex\/Life actress appeared on The Bossticks podcast, when she reflected on starring alongside The Sopranos star in an episode of the beloved TV show back in 2007.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI did a sex scene with Tony Soprano. One of the best, I have to say, kisses I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember thinking to myself, like, how am I going to get turned on by this 47-year-old large balding man? Like, there\u2019s nothing. How is this going to work for me?<\/p>\n
\u201cBut oh boy, did it work for me!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSarah, 46, added that she\u2019d had to sit on James\u2019 lap for the sex scene between her character and James\u2019 mob boss Tony Soprano.<\/p>\n
\nShe laughed of the scene: \u201cThen we have to kiss, and when they called \u2018cut,\u2019 we were still kissing.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe did it three, four times, and every time, they would call \u2018cut\u2019 and we\u2019re still f****** making out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSarah also said that James, who died aged 51 in 2013 following a heart attack, was \u201cincredible\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHinting at his troubles with alcohol and drug addiction, she explained: \u201cHe was a very troubled man, but the crew loved him.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJames had to issue an apology to Sarah after he accidentally forgot to turn up for their first day of shooting together. <\/p>\n
\nRecalling his gesture after the misstep, Sarah said: \u201cI went back to my hotel room and he sent me a dozen roses with a note saying, like, \u2018Sorry about today. Don\u2019t be nervous because I suck. Love, the fat man\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen she eventually did meet James, she said she attempted to \u201cmatch his energy\u201d by quipping that she would have preferred \u201cJimmy Choo shoes, size seven\u201d to flowers.<\/p>\n
\nLater that night, a pair of the heels arrived at Sarah\u2019s hotel room. <\/p>\n
\nJames died in 2013 while on holiday in Rome. <\/p>\n
\nFollowing his tragic passing, actress Edie Falco – who played his wife Carmela in the show – said: “I am shocked and devastated by Jim’s passing. He was a man of tremendous depth and sensitivity, with a kindness and generosity beyond words. I consider myself very lucky to have spent 10 years as his close colleague.<\/p>\n
\n“My heart goes out to his family. As those of us in his pretend one hold on to the memories of our intense and beautiful time together. The love between Tony and Carmela was one of the greatest I’ve ever known.”<\/p>\n
