You\u2019re also not allowed to use derogatory language about gender, sex, sexual orientation, race, age, ability, or any other \u201cphysical, social or cultural attributes or classifications.\u201d You can\u2019t spread misinformation and disinformation, either. Or impersonate someone. Some of these are normal policies, some are unusually heavy-handed, and they\u2019re all hard to litigate. But Mozilla\u2019s stance is pretty simple and extremely unusual in the social media universe: if it\u2019s debatable, it\u2019s gone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph my-12 font-fkroman text-17 leading-150 text-gray-13 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">\u201cWe\u2019re not going to advertise that we\u2019re some kind of neutral platform,\u201d says Steve Teixeira, Mozilla\u2019s chief product officer.
