Mia Calabrese<\/strong><\/a> has been keeping an eye on Summer House<\/em><\/a> costar KJ Dillard<\/strong><\/a> following his split from Dara Levitan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cKJ is great. He was just at my house, like, a week ago,\u201d Mia, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while promoting her partnership with Walgreens to unveil her \u201cUltimate Summer Must-Haves<\/a>\u201d available at the retailer.<\/p>\n

Mia recalled having both KJ \u2014 her newfound brother after bonding during season 10 of the Bravo series<\/a> \u2014 and her real-life brother over to help her move her couch and new rug.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018All right, I\u2019m gonna leave.\u2019 And my brother\u2019s like, \u2018Ah, KJ, we\u2019ve got work to do.\u2019 So I have a hilarious video of him, like, taking my whole living room apart and moving my rug and my couch,\u201d Mia shared. \u201cBut KJ is great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBefore KJ Dillard and Mia Calabrese were roommates in the Hamptons, the Summer House stars had a connection through their extended families. \u201cMy mom and @miagcalabrese\u2019s sister were college roommates and friends,\u201d KJ shared via Instagram on Tuesday, May 12, with a throwback photo. \u201cThis is me as a baby with both of them.\u201d The [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The influencer noted<\/a> that from her \u201cunderstanding\u201d KJ and Dara, 33, \u201cdid break up\u201d recently, so she has been looking in on them both.<\/p>\n

\u201cI checked on Dara, I sent her a text, and just let her know I\u2019m thinking of her, because breakups are difficult, no matter what,\u201d Mia told Us<\/em>. \u201cBut they\u2019re obviously even more difficult when you have the public eye watching your breakup. So I checked on Dara, KJ is doing well, and he\u2019s navigating the breakup as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

KJ, 28, and Dara, both of whom made their reality TV debut during season 10 of Summer House<\/em>, became a couple while filming the show in summer 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the three-part season 10 reunion<\/a>, filmed in April, Dara and KJ hinted that they had briefly parted ways at some point in 2025 as KJ was struggling with his mental health.<\/p>\n

KJ revealed on the show that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder<\/a> in fall 2025 and was hospitalized for self-harm before getting the help he needed. (KJ confirmed in early June on the \u201cMore Life With Carl Radke<\/a>\u201d podcast that Dara broke up with him<\/a> during that timeframe because \u201cshe had to\u201d while he was in recovery.)<\/p>\n

When Dara joined KJ during part 2 of the reunion<\/a>, she told host Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> that they were happily together, holding his hand and smiling.<\/p>\n

However, rumors of another breakup circulated in May when KJ untagged Dara in their couple pictures.<\/p>\n

Andy, 58, asked Jesse Solomon<\/strong><\/a> earlier this month why KJ and Dara allegedly unfollowed each other on social media, to which he responded, \u201cThey broke up, yeah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesse, 32, explained on the June 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a> that \u201clast I heard they were broken up. Sorry if that\u2019s not public.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few weeks later, Dara confirmed her relationship status<\/a>, revealing on the Thursday, June 18, episode of the \u201cFive More Minutes\u201d podcast that she is single.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s all we\u2019re going to say about it because I can\u2019t do tears this morning, and there\u2019s no way I\u2019m talking about it without crying,\u201d she said, referring to her heartbreak over no longer dating KJ.<\/p>\n

As KJ and Dara navigate their split, Mia told Us<\/em> she hopes they \u201cdo what is going to make them happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf what\u2019s going to make them happy is being together, life is short, that\u2019s what you should do,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd if what\u2019s going to make them happy is being separate, that it is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mia, meanwhile, revealed that she doesn\u2019t \u201cknow what my summer plans are\u201d but her motto for the season is \u201clive and have fun and see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
