\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n ESPN\u2019s Matt Miller<\/strong>, who you may recognize from his stellar NFL draft coverage on his @nfldraftscout account, has announced he was in a serious car accident and had to undergo a life-saving arm amputation.<\/p>\n Matt <\/strong>provided an update on his X<\/a> account.<\/p>\n \u201cLast week, I was involved in a serious car accident in Missouri and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital. I\u2019m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I have received, from the first responders to the doctors, nurses and medical staff. I\u2019m incredibly fortunate to be writing this.<\/p>\n As a result of the accident, I sustained significant injuries, including multiple fractures and broken ribs. I also underwent a life-saving amputation of my left arm. While I have a long road ahead, I\u2019m focused on my recovery and taking things one day at a time.<\/p>\n Thank you for the overwhelming support, prayers and kind messages \u2014 they have meant so much to me and my family during this time,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n He wrote, \u201cI look forward to continuing my recovery and getting back to ESPN to talk football, including what should be an exciting 2027 NFL Draft class.\u201d<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, the 2027 NFL Draft will take place in April of next year.
