The first Broadway revival of\u00a0The Sound of Music<\/em>\u00a0in nearly 30 years stars Jasmine Amy Rogers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Off-Broadway season at the Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters includes\u00a0The Whoopi Monologues<\/em>, starring Dominique Fishback<\/strong>, Kecia Lewis<\/strong>, Danielle Pinnock<\/strong>, Kerry Washington<\/strong>, and Kara Young<\/strong>. There\u2019s also the American premiere of\u00a0Playing Burton<\/em>, a play by Mark Jenkins<\/strong> starring Matthew Rhys<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Plus, there\u2019s The Composer Series<\/em>, featuring Sara Bareilles<\/strong>, Lin-Manuel Miranda<\/strong>, and Pasek & Paul<\/strong>, who will \u201cjoin forces with exciting emerging composers to share songs, stories, and the creative spark that connects one generation of artists to the next.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur second season is rooted in a simple belief: people are hungry for meaningful shared experiences.
