The 23-year-old pop star is launching a new festival in California called Daisy Chain Fields, which will also feature the likes of Chappell Roan and KATSEYE.<\/p>\n
Olivia wrote on Instagram: “truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i\u2019ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!! Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I\u2019m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!<\/p>\n

Olivia confirmed that net profits from ticket sales will go to several charities and non-profit organisations, including the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, Planned Parenthood, and the National Women\u2019s Law Center.<\/p>\n
\nThe brunette beauty told Pitchfork: “All of the artists who are doing it are making no profit.<\/p>\n
\n“I just feel like we need something really positive to do and see, and young girls need awesome role models who are supporting other women and who are engaging in something that\u2019s really joyful and musical and community-oriented.”<\/p>\n
\nOlivia is thrilled to be fulfilling a long-held dream.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I actually feel like it\u2019s my calling in some weird way. I \u2026 have had this dream to do this festival for a really long time.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Olivia previously claimed that fame has “stunted” her development.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer has enjoyed huge success in recent years, but Olivia feels that growing up in the public eye has had a detrimental impact on her.<\/p>\n
\nOlivia told the Guardian newspaper: “Nobody can be perfect, ever. It\u2019s so funny because I am so strait-laced. But it\u2019s hard.<\/p>\n
\n“I feel super mature in some ways and super stunted in others because of how I\u2019ve grown up.<\/p>\n
\n“I have such curiosity to learn and grow and experience things, and how am I ever going to learn if I can\u2019t make a mistake in the privacy of my own life?”<\/p>\n
