Jennifer Grey<\/strong><\/a> is proving that friends who go topless together at the beach are the best kind of friends on Tracy Pollan<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n

Grey, 66, shared a racy throwback photo with Michael J. Fox<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s wife, 66, in celebration of her longtime friend\u2019s special day, teasing their more risque antics from years\u2019 past.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy birthday @tracy.pollan\u2665\ufe0f,\u201d Grey captioned the Monday, June 22, Instagram photo<\/a>. \u201cFriendship like this is \ud83c\udf1f\u2018if you fall I will catch you, I\u2019ll be waiting\u2026 time after time!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In the vintage picture, the Dirty Dancing<\/em> actress<\/a> is standing with her arm around Pollan. Grey can be seen wearing a pink v-cut bikini bottom but no top as she poses alongside the blonde beauty on the sand. Grey\u2019s legs are slightly crossed and her curls are blowing naturally in the ocean breeze.<\/p>\n

Pollan, for her part, wore a light blue bikini bottom and also chose to go topless for the back-in-the-day beach outing.<\/p>\n

While it is clear neither woman has a top on, Grey covered their bare breasts in the picture with gold stars. Their toned abs, however, are on full display.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat 1980s exercises were you ladies doing to get abs like that? \ud83d\ude31\ud83d\udd25 happy friendship day to you both \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffb,\u201d one user wrote in the comments section.<\/p>\n

Another fan replied, \u201cHaha! Besties have all the receipts \ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffc\u2665\ufe0f\u2665\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pollan, meanwhile<\/a>, was a fan of Grey\u2019s choice in the picture, writing in the comments, \u201cHahahaha I love you!!\u201d She added three heart emojis in a separate comment.<\/p>\n

Grey and Pollan, both actresses, have been friends for decades, well before either of them was famous.<\/p>\n

The Ferris Bueller\u2019s Day Off<\/em> actress<\/a> revealed in June 2024<\/a> that she and Pollan have been \u201cbest friends since 1974,\u201d when they were about 14 and going to high school in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe that in addition to celebrating your birthday, we are also going to be celebrating the marriage of the first of your four beautiful children! #skyandwill\u2764\ufe0f#itsamitzvahpalooza,\u201d Grey wrote via Instagram at the time, referring to Pollan and Fox\u2019s daughter Schuyler<\/strong> getting married<\/a> in the Catskill Mountains that year on her mom\u2019s special day. (Pollan shares son Sam<\/strong>, 37, twin daughters Schuyler and Aquinnah<\/strong>, 31, and daughter Esm\u00e9<\/strong>, 24, with Fox, whom she wed in 1988<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Pollan and Grey have continued their friendship for more than five decades, frequently enjoying beach days.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappiest birthday to my most precious friend. I love you so very much \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d Pollan wrote via Instagram<\/a> in March 2025, sharing a beach selfie with Grey. (Grey is the mother of daughter Stella<\/strong>, 24, whom she shares with ex-husband Clark Gregg<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n
