I used quotes around \u201cnew\u201d because the experience has been in preview <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/7\/20\/22585249\/tweetdeck-redesign-twitter-column-deck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for nearly two years<\/a>, but according to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ayroblu\/status\/1675790004470132742\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Twitter employee<\/a>, \u201crecent changes\u201d have broken the legacy version of the app and will mean that the company will migrate everyone to the updated experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Twitter employees have also shared some slight clarifications about what\u2019s going on with TweetDeck at the moment. For many on the old interface, TweetDeck is largely useless right now; all of my columns are just spinning with a \u201cLoading&#8230;\u201d message, and my colleagues saw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/7\/3\/23782585\/tweetdeck-broken-twitter-rate-limits-scraping-elon-musk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">something similar as well<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">While the empty columns popped up after Twitter began <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/7\/3\/23782585\/tweetdeck-broken-twitter-rate-limits-scraping-elon-musk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rate-limiting tweets<\/a>, according to the Twitter employees, those rate limits aren\u2019t actually causing the problems with old TweetDeck.
