Harlan Coben<\/strong>\u2018s I Will Find You featured a multitude of twists \u2014 but the most surprising had to do with Milo Ventimiglia<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

After spending the entire season building up to the reveal of who had kidnapped David\u2019s (Sam Worthington<\/strong>) son, it was revealed to be none other than Hayden<\/a> (Ventimiglia). Executive producers Robert Hull<\/strong> and Coben weighed in on the intentionality.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you hear somebody like Milo, you usually think what about somebody like him. You don\u2019t think he\u2019s actually going to do it and be third on the call sheet,\u201d Hull exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The writing team was grateful for Ventimiglia. \u201cLuckily for Milo, he doesn\u2019t care. He just wants to play a great role,\u201d Hull noted. \u201cAnd we absolutely wanted to bring all the baggage of This Is Us. Not only that but Milo as a person is such a sweet, gentle, incredible soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

The crime and thriller novelist has written 35 novels, with 12 having been adapted for film and television. Currently, Coben has a deal with Netflix to pump out these heaters for years to come. With his latest adaptation, Harlan Coben\u2019s Lazarus, already [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He continued: \u201cThat\u2019s why people fall in love with him. And to use that to our advantage of what we\u2019re going to do here was absolutely a gift and absolutely intentional.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coben also confirmed that it was \u201cso intentional.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cMilo is one of the loveliest human beings besides a lovely actor and you immediately think of him and This Is Us and Gilmore Girls and Heroes,\u201d the author added. \u201cHe\u2019s such a likable presence that we were able to sort of exploit that. Let\u2019s just say that.\u201d<\/p>\n

I Will Find You<\/em>, which is streaming now, follows David Burroughs (Worthington), who is wrongly imprisoned for the murder of his son then receives information that his son may still be alive.<\/a><\/p>\n
