The 48-year-old passed away in February after battling cancer, and was most famous for playing the lead role in the beloved TV series, which ran from 1998 to 2003. <\/p>\n
Busy also starred in the programme as Audrey, but told Us Weekly that while the show is still a cult classic among fans, she\u2019s unsure whether watching it would be too painful for her now. <\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI was thinking about doing a rewatch for myself, you know, like, watching it for the first time,\u00a0Dawson\u2019s Creek, but I just haven\u2019t yet. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd also, you know, it\u2019s hard.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBusy added to the outlet that James\u2019 death – as well as the passing of several of her friends in recent years – has had a dramatic effect on her. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI\u2019ve lost several very close friends, far too young, in the last few years. James, obviously being one of them, a very public one. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think that the perspective shift once you lose one friend is huge. And it really sort of instills in you that every day is all you have.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, she\u2019s learned in the process to try and live her life \u201cwith that understanding\u201d and \u201cmove through the world in a way that reflects that you get that\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cSo I do try to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn addition, James\u2019 death has reminded her how important it is to look after your health.<\/p>\n
\nBusy urged: \u201cSee doctors, get checkups, like, make sure that you\u2019re taking care of your body and your health, and if something feels off, go get it checked out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJames left behind six kids and wife Kimberly when he passed, and his widow took to Instagram in May to mark three months since his death. <\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: \u201cTo say I’m heartbroken is a severe understatement. Words just don’t capture what grief is. The comforts of shock have worn off. The reality is settling in… and I miss him. We all miss him. (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nKimberly and her six children, Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 12, Emilia, nine, Gwendolyn, seven, and four-year-old Jeremiah, have been left devastated by the actor’s passing, her “conscious connection” to God has “deepened” as a result of her loss. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “Yet, there is a different kind of magic in the air. I feel him. I know him more deeply. My conscious connection to God has deepened. <\/p>\n
\n“The veils of the universe have thinned. And I trust that this is the path me and my family have always been intended to walk.” <\/p>\n
\nKimberly also thanked James’ fans for their “tremendous” support, and told how she is “deeply grateful”. She added: “The outpouring of support has been tremendous. It’s held our family in the most beautiful of ways. You all went absolutely above and beyond anything I could have ever expected in supporting us and honouring James. I am deeply grateful. There is so much more to share here. And in time – I will.\u201d<\/p>\n
