The actress, 38, marked the milestone days after Macaulay, 45, celebrated their relationship on Instagram \u2013\u00a0by sharing a heartfelt message in which she said her life \u201cburst into color\u201d when the former child star entered it. <\/p>\n
Brenda responded with her own post on Thursday (18.06.26), sharing a Polaroid-style photograph of the pair kissing and reflecting on nearly a decade together. <\/p>\n
The couple, who met while filming Changeland and began dating in 2017, are now parents to two sons \u2013 Dakota, four, and Carson, two. <\/p>\n
Their relationship has attracted growing attention in recent years as both stars have enjoyed career resurgences. <\/p>\n
\nBrenda currently stars alongside Kate Hudson in Netflix comedy Running Point, while Macaulay has returned to screens with roles including appearances in the second season of Fallout and voice work in Zootopia 2. <\/p>\n
\nHe remains best known worldwide for playing Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone films, one of the most iconic child performances in cinema history.<\/p>\n
\nSharing her message on Instagram, Brenda wrote: \u201cHappy 9 year anniversary @culkamania !\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe continued: \u201cAs I sit here at this airport, just having wrapped on set and about to fly home to see you and our babies \u2013 I can\u2019t help but be a little sentimental and reminisce at how fast 9 years can fly by when I get to enjoy life with you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nReflecting on her relationship with Macaulay, Brenda added: \u201cMy life burst into colour when you walked into it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI will never know what I did to deserve you and this life that we lead, but I am forever grateful. I truly can\u2019t imagine doing this whole life thing without you. It\u2019s not always easy but it\u2019s always worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe concluded: \u201cI love you more and more each day.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou’re stuck with me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe post followed Macaulay\u2019s own anniversary tribute shared a day earlier.<\/p>\n
\nHe wrote: \u201cToday marks a very special day for me. It’s been 9 years since my life changed forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMacaulay added: \u201cIt’s amazing to think that 1 in every 5 days I’ve been alive I have had the honor of waking up next to the love of my life. My only regret is that we haven’t had more time together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe and Brenda got engaged in January 2022, roughly nine months after welcoming their first son. <\/p>\n
\nBrenda, who first rose to prominence through Disney Channel projects including The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, has recently enjoyed renewed success through Running Point. <\/p>\n
\nMacaulay has also made cameo appearances in the Netflix series across its two seasons.<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this year, Brenda revealed Macaulay had surprised her with another proposal while she was filming the show.<\/p>\n
