\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ben Stiller<\/strong><\/a> is taking on a project very close to his heart.<\/p>\n The 60-year-old New York Knicks<\/strong><\/a> super-fan confirmed he\u2019s working on a documentary about the NBA championship-winning team with A24.<\/p>\n \u201cCouldn\u2019t be more excited to make this doc with @A24 and @HBO about the NY KNICKS!!!!!! #LETSGOKNICKS,\u201d the actor and director wrote in an\u00a0X post<\/a>\u00a0on Wednesday (June 17).<\/p>\n The news came just after the team\u2019s first win in over 50 years, and their massive homecoming parade in New York City on Thursday (June 18).<\/p>\n Ben <\/strong>is often seen sitting courtside at Knicks games, and recently opened up about the project with Jalen Brunson<\/strong>, Josh Hart<\/strong> and Matt Hillman<\/strong> on the Roommates Show<\/em>\u00a0podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are officially making a documentary about the New York Knicks for HBO, and doing it with A24, and full cooperation of [Madison Square Garden] and NBA,\u201d he confirmed.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, I\u2019ve been shooting some stuff on my phone but it\u2019s kind of gonna be about all eras of the Knicks and this team, obviously, you know, there\u2019s a culmination here of something that has been going on for a long time. It\u2019s super exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n A24 issued a statement to ABC News<\/a> about what to expect: \u201cThe series will trace the full arc of the franchise from the 90s to the improbable, record-breaking run that finally returned a championship to New York.
