The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder<\/strong><\/em> is coming to an end!<\/p>\n

The Disney+ reboot of the popular early 2000s animated series has just been announced to be returning for a fourth and final season on the streamer. This comes just ahead of the OG show\u2019s 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Final season synopsis revealed<\/h3>\n

Season four finds the\u00a0Proud\u00a0family\u00a0at a life-changing turning point. Penny\u00a0Proud\u00a0is pulled into a series of unexpected adventures that test her courage and identity. With more action-packed, mind-bending and heartfelt twists than ever before, the Prouds face every new challenge head-on, proving that no matter how chaotic life gets, they\u2019re strongest when they face it together.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Original voice stars reprising their characters include Kyla Pratt<\/strong> (Penny Proud), Tommy Davidson<\/strong> (Oscar\u00a0Proud), Paula Jai Parker<\/strong> (Trudy\u00a0Proud), JoMarie Payton<\/strong> (Suga Mama), Cedric The Entertainer<\/strong> (Uncle Bobby), Karen Malina White<\/strong> (Dijonay Jones), Soleil Moon Frye<\/strong> (Zoey Howzer), Alisa Reyes<\/strong> (LaCienega Boulevardez), Carlos Mencia<\/strong> (Felix Boulevardez), Alvaro Gutierrez<\/strong> (Papi), Raquel Lee Bolleau<\/strong> (Nubia Gross) and Marcus T. Paulk<\/strong> (Myron). Melissa De Sousa <\/strong>took over the voice role of Sunset Boulevardez in the reboot.<\/p>\n

Several stars are also joining the cast for guest star roles in the upcoming fourth and final season. <\/p>\n

Mariah Carey<\/strong>, Romany Malco<\/strong>, Chloe Bailey<\/strong>, Lorraine Toussaint<\/strong>,\u00a0Christopher \u201cMad Dog\u201d Russo<\/strong>,\u00a0Kym Whitley<\/strong>, Dee Nasty<\/strong>, Adele Givens<\/strong>, Ali Wong<\/strong>, JB Smoove<\/strong> and Lashana Lynch<\/strong> have all been tapped for the new season. <\/p>\n

Anthony Anderson<\/strong> and Tiffany Haddish<\/strong> will reprise their recurring guest star roles of Ray Ray and Ms Hill, respectively. <\/p>\n

In addition to the final season, Disney has also announced the upcoming holiday special, A Proud Family Wizmas<\/em>, which will be a song-filled, stop-motion special produced by Disney Television Animation. <\/p>\n

Kurt Farquhar<\/strong> will write and compose six new original songs for the holiday special. <\/p>\n
