\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s future on Summer House<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and In the City<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has become a topic of conversation ever since her romance with West Wilson<\/strong> was confirmed. <\/p>\n The 34-year-old reality star has been on the Bravo show as a main cast member since season two, and is one of the stars of the spinoff. <\/p>\n However, after her romance and amid the recent season ten reunion, many viewers have expressed they don\u2019t want to see her on either show anymore. <\/p>\n There has also been speculation on social media that Bravo and others are protecting her, but a network executive is shutting it down in a new interview. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know how you could watch that reunion and feel like anybody protected her from anything,\u201d Noah Samton<\/strong>, SVP of\u00a0current production for\u00a0Bravo and Peacock unscripted, told Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThis is what we do on reality TV \u2014 we tell everybody\u2019s story, and we try to tell it as best we can from a very fair point of view. We are cutting down 10 hours of a reunion into three hours total or something. So sure, stuff hits the cutting room floor. But there\u2019s never any intention of protecting somebody, or spinning it in a certain way. It\u2019s about representing what actually happened in the most fair \u2014 but also entertaining \u2014 way we can.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI would want to protect anybody on any one of our shows, to the extent of it\u2019s a cruel world out there. People are vicious on social media,\u201d he added. \u201cI don\u2019t want anybody to get death threats. I don\u2019t want anything bad to happen. People have opened up their lives for the viewers\u2019 entertainment, and they deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. But that\u2019s different than protecting somebody.\u201d <\/p>\n While he didn\u2019t address her future on Summer House<\/em>, which is set to start filming on season 11 in a couple weeks, Noah<\/strong> did speak to the potential of Amanda<\/strong>\u2018s future on In the City if it gets renewed for a second season. <\/p>\n \u201cI do think if you\u2019re doing a show about a friend group, they do still need to be friends to an extent. So if there\u2019s a world in which Amanda<\/strong> made sense with that cast \u2014 sure, that\u2019s a possibility,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The executive also teased that Amanda<\/strong> was much different on the recently filmed In the City<\/em> reunion<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWhat I think will be interesting is how different Amanda<\/strong> is on the In the City<\/em> reunion versus the Summer House<\/em> reunion. It\u2019s a whole new Amanda<\/strong>,\u201d he teased. \u201cI can only say so much, but it\u2019s\u00a0a different cast around her. There\u2019s not the pressures, and the situation that she was dealing with at Summer House<\/em> is not there for In the City<\/em>.
