\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The Las Vegas entertainment venue The Sphere has announced that its next movie experience will be The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Sphere launched an interactive experience for The Wizard of Oz<\/em> last August and in less than a year, the film has brought in $400 million in ticket sales with 3 million tickets sold, according to THR<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/em> will premiere at The Sphere in 2027 and right now, it\u2019s unclear if the venue will spend the same amount of money to transform the movie as it did with The Wizard of Oz<\/em>. That experience cost around $100 million to be adapted for The Sphere. <\/p>\n While reps for The Sphere have not commented on the news, MSG\u2019s Jim Dolan<\/strong> confirmed the project.<\/p>\n \u201cThrough Sphere Studios, we are building a slate of original experiences that push the boundaries of technology and storytelling for this new medium, while always keeping the audience at the center of the experience. Since The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/em> premiered in 1975, it redefined audience participation and became a cultural phenomenon.
