\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n JD Vance<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about his \u201cchildless cat ladies\u201d comment.<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, on Fox News back in 2021, he said: \u201cWe are effectively run in this country \u2014 via the Democrat [Party], via our corporate oligarchs \u2014 by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they\u2019ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too,\u201d he said in 2021. \u201cIf you look at Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/a>, Pete Buttigieg<\/strong><\/a>, AOC<\/strong><\/a>, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.\u201d<\/p>\n In his new book \u201cCommunion,\u201d he is speaking out about the remark, calling it a \u201cboneheaded comment,\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the dumbest things I ever said came when I argued that \u2018childless cat ladies\u2019 across the Democrat Party were running our country into the ground,\u201d he wrote in the book, via NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe comment caused two firestorms: the first when I made it, the second years later during a political campaign\u2026It was a boneheaded comment, intentionally (and successfully) provocative rather than illuminating,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Some celebrities called out Vance <\/strong>over the controversial comments, including Jennifer Aniston<\/strong>.<\/a> Taylor Swift<\/strong> also referenced the line in her endorsement of Harris<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n Posted To:JD Vance<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
