Carrie Underwood<\/strong><\/a> and her sisters debuted a matching tattoo with their mother, Carole Underwood<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas<\/a>,\u201d Carrie, 40, shared via Instagram alongside a series of photos from their adventure on Sunday, July 2. \u201cThe only questions are, \u2018what?\u2019 and \u2018where?\u2019 I never would\u2019ve thought I\u2019d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin\u2019 some ink!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cBefore He Cheats\u201d songstress added the hashtag, \u201cWhat Happens In Vegas.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The four ladies each received a simple outline of a heart tatted by Las Vegas tattoo artist Darek Riley<\/strong>. While Carrie opted for her ink to be placed on the top of her right foot, her sisters, Stephanie Shelton<\/strong> and Shanna Underwood Means<\/strong>, along with their mom, all placed their new tattoos on the inside of their wrists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Carrie shares a special bond with her mother and gushed about her in a sweet Mother\u2019s Day tribute<\/a> earlier this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHappy Mother\u2019s Day to all the moms out there \u2026 and especially to my own mother! You are loved. You are appreciated! You are irreplaceable!\u201d she tweeted at the time. \u201cMay you all feel celebrated today.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n While it\u2019s unclear when the Underwood ladies received their permanent ink, the <\/span>American Idol <\/span><\/i><\/a>alum recently wrapped the first leg of her Las Vegas residency show, Reflection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhat an amazing run in #Vegas<\/a> @resortsworldlv!!!\u201d she shared via Instagram hours before revealing her tattoo. \u201cAlready can\u2019t wait to come back in September. Thanks for treatin\u2019 us right!!! We\u2019ll see ya\u2019 next time!!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Oklahoma native\u2019s new ink comes less than two months after she debuted her previous artwork, a dainty pink daisy<\/a> on the inside of her forearm, which she also decided to get with her \u201csisters.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSisters \u2026 not by blood \u2026 but sisters nonetheless,\u201d Carrie captioned a slideshow of pictures from a family trip to Florida on May 10. \u201cGod truly showed us great favor by putting us all together. These ladies are strong, kind and faithful and I\u2019m so happy I get to do life with them!!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She continued, \u201cIt\u2019s true that you don\u2019t get to choose your family, but if I could, I would choose these exact three women to be my sisters-in-law!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFrom the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn\u2019t know what hit it!\u201d the mother of two added. \u201cI love you ladies!!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
