The 43-year-old actress played Kim Bauer, the daughter of Kiefer Sutherland’s lead character Jack Bauer in the real-time drama but she admitted it wasn’t an “easy” programme to work on because the shoots could be so “intense”, and so if the show was ever to make a comeback, she’s unsure if she’d return to the role.<\/p>\n
She told People magazine: \u201cIt’s hard to imagine, really, the scope of it. It was a whirlwind, too. I mean, the success of it all was overwhelming and thrilling and exciting.<\/p>\n
“I have great memories of that time, but also, it was really intense too. We were working so much that the one-hour format… especially with all the action and all the intense night shoots, I mean, it was not an easy show to film.<\/p>\n
“It was a well-oiled machine, but it still was a gruelling schedule. I don’t know if I’d have the energy to partake in that again.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nBut Elisha praised 24 for being “amazing” and “groundbreaking.”<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “So it was special to be a part of.”<\/p>\n
\nElisha is still in touch with some of her former co-stars “on occasion”, and she regularly runs into people who had guest roles in 24.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIt’s amazing how many actors were on that show.<\/p>\n
\n“We may not have really worked physically in person together, but certainly a lot of actors pass through over the course of eight seasons, and so we have that in common.”<\/p>\n
\nWhile Elisha found working on the show to be demanding, Kiefer recently admitted he enjoyed his time on 24 because it gave him a “real job” with regular hours.<\/p>\n
\nHe told Fox News Digital: “I think 24 for me was a fantastic opportunity because it was the first thing that felt like a real job. <\/p>\n
\n“I went to work five days a week, eight months to 10 months a year, and then I was lucky enough to do it nine years in a row. <\/p>\n
\n“So, there was a moment where that made me feel calmer. But I’m back to the every three months I’m out of a job kind of thing.”<\/p>\n
