Dramatic weddings? That sounds like Sweet Magnolias<\/em> to us, and the rumors are true \u2013 the hit Netflix series is back for season 5<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a slew of new shows that will make you beg for more seasons, like Prime Video<\/a>\u2019s hit YA adaptation Every Year After<\/em> and HBO Max<\/a>\u2019s queer coming-of-age tale, Proud<\/em>.\n<\/p>\n

The streaming service announced on Thursday, April 30, that Prime Video was branching out with Obsessed Fest, which is described as \u201can inaugural summer tentpole event [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Relax, fans \u2013 Sweet Magnolias<\/em> is still largely set in Serenity, that cozy, too-good-to-be-real small town that makes Stars Hollow seem like San Francisco. Helen\u2019s upcoming nuptials provide some of the drama, as does Dana Sue\u2019s (Brooke Elliott<\/strong>) increasingly troubled marriage to hubby Ronnie (Brandon Quinn<\/strong>). Yet no matter what life serves them, the Magnolia ladies can rely on each other to weather any storm \u2013 and disappointing men \u2013 that cross their paths.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just as addictive as Off Campus<\/em>, except it\u2019s a little more serious than its YA peer.<\/p>\n

Barry\u2019s Bay is a picture-perfect small town, so why has Percy (Sadie Soverall<\/strong><\/a>) been away for almost a decade? Something drove her away, and it has to do with childhood crush Sam (Matt Cornett<\/strong>). When her mother, Sue (Elisha Cuthbert<\/strong>), dies, Percy has no choice but to go back to her hometown and face some demons from her past. Will she see Sam again? Does she even want to?<\/p>\n
