Alana Haim<\/strong><\/a> is dishing on the custom tees she made for the Knicks game<\/a> this week! <\/p>\n

The 34-year-old musician and actress wore a \u201cKnickole Kidman\u201d shirt, while her sister Este<\/strong><\/a> wore a \u201cKnickleback\u201d tee and BFF Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> wore a \u201cStevie Knicks\u201d shirt to the game four of the NBA finals. <\/p>\n

Mariska Hargitay<\/strong> and Sombr<\/strong> also got the same shirt<\/a> as Taylor<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

In a new interview, Alana<\/strong> revealed how the shirts came to be and the text from Taylor<\/strong> that started it all.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love making shirts for my friends; I have my friends come over all the time, and I\u2019m like,\u00a0\u2018Do you want to make shirts?\u2019\u00a0It\u2019s my creative outlet. I can\u2019t paint. I wish I could paint, but I can\u2019t. But I figured out how to screen print, and I have like a little setup at home,\u201d Alana<\/strong> dished to Vogue<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI have a Cricut, which is this precision vinyl and paper-cutting printer. It\u2019s hard to explain what a Cricut is. A lot of DIY people online love the Cricut, which is why I got it, and I cut the vinyl out, put it on a screen, and you buy some screen-printing paint, and you squeegee it on. I\u2019ve been wanting to try out this puffy additive for a very long time, and I got to use a puff-paste effect on these shirts, which was really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

The name puns came thanks to a text from Taylor<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I got a text from Taylor<\/strong> that was really the text that you want to get as an amateur screen printer [Laughs<\/em>.] She said, \u201cI want to wear this shirt to the game, can you make it for me?\u201d and I was like, \u201cI thought you would never ask, this is my dream.\u201d Whenever I start out a session with a friend, I go: \u201cLet\u2019s talk about puns, let\u2019s talk about sizing,\u201d and [Swift<\/strong>] came up with Stevie Knicks<\/strong>. We were kind of going back and forth with these puns; we really just wanted to have fun, because we were so excited that we were going to the game, and I thought it would make people laugh, so we put them on shirts and all decided to wear them.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mariska<\/strong> famously ran to the game after finishing her Broadway show, Every Brilliant Thing<\/em>, and she also ended up wearing a shirt too. So, was that planned? Alana<\/strong> says she \u201calways brings extras\u201d! <\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor<\/strong> really wanted to bring extras so we could give them to friends. And Mariska<\/strong> was so down; she\u2019s such an amazing human being, and I\u2019m such a big fan of her, so the fact that she also wanted to wear one of my shirts was insane,\u201d the singer explained. \u201cIt really bonded us all together. I\u2019ve never hugged someone more than at that game. It was such an incredible game, so I was really happy that we had brought extras.\u201d <\/p>\n
