\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Get ready for more Widow\u2019s Bay<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n On Thursday (June 11), Variety<\/a><\/em> announced that the comedy horror series starring Matthew Rhys<\/strong><\/a> has been renewed for a second season by Apple TV<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The news comes a week before the season one finale is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, June 17.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the synopsis: \u201cIn Widow\u2019s Bay<\/em>, something lurks beneath the surface. Mayor Tom Loftis (Rhys<\/strong>) is desperate to revive his struggling community. There\u2019s no Wi-Fi, spotty cellular reception and he must contend with superstitious locals who believe their island is cursed. He wants these people to respect him. They don\u2019t. They think he is soft and cowardly. And he is. But Loftis is determined to build a better future for his teenage son and turn the island into a tourist destination. Miraculously, he succeeds: tourists are finally coming. Unfortunately, the locals were right.
