Kevin Spacey<\/a><\/strong> is a \u201csexual bully\u201d who preys on men and doesn\u2019t \u201crespect personal boundaries,\u201d a British prosecutor said Friday morning at the start of the actor\u2019s sexual assault trial in London.<\/p>\n The Oscar- and Tony-winning actor is charged with 12 offenses against four men, who are now in their 30s and 40s. The allegations date from 2001 to 2013, when Spacey was the artistic director of London\u2019s prestigious Old Vic theater.<\/p>\n Spacey has pleaded not guilty to all charges<\/a>, which include sexual assault, indecent assault and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.<\/p>\n During her opening statement, prosecutor Christine Agnew<\/strong> described the once-celebrated actor as \u201ca man who does not respect personal boundaries or space, a man who it would seem delights in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable \u2014 a sexual bully.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe is an extremely famous actor who has won a number of awards\u201d and who also \u201csexually assaults other men,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Jurors also heard that Spacey\u2019s \u201cpreferred method of assault is, it appears, to grab aggressively other men in the crotch.\u201d On one occasion, she said<\/a>, Mr. Spacey had gone further and performed oral sex on a man while he was asleep.<\/p>\n
