Jade Thirlwall<\/a> and Leigh-Anne Pinnock continued as a trio before Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022 to allow each member to pursue solo careers. <\/p>\nPerrie\u2019s new comments come shortly after Jesy discussed the breakdown of her friendships with her former bandmates in a recent documentary, in which she said she had not seen them since leaving the group but did not completely rule out a future reunion. <\/p>\n
The group remain one of Britain’s most successful girl bands, with hits including Shout Out to My Ex, Black Magic and Wings.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on Jamie\u2019s podcast, Perrie said one issue continued to frustrate her more than any other.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cWhat annoys me is the most, and again I have to be careful how I say this as I don’t want to seem like a b**** but for me what upsets me the most is when situations like this happen and the other person doesn’t take any accountability. That boils my blood!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie continued: \u201cI am not blaming everything on you, I am not saying that she’s this f****** monster and everything was her fault blah, blah, blah but take some accountability for your actions and realise you were difficult, you did have difficult moments.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cGranted there were reasons for those moments but you can only pick someone up so many f****** times before you start losing track of your own sanity.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe singer also said she felt hurt by Jesy’s public comments suggesting she had not received enough support from her bandmates during her struggles.<\/p>\n
\nJesy previously said she felt isolated towards the end of her time in Little Mix and described a final phone call with her former bandmates as awkward, saying she felt as though she was speaking to strangers.<\/p>\n
\nResponding to those claims, Perrie said: \u201cDon’t put the blame on me and make me out to be something I am not, yes I am not perfect and I might not have been there enough or I could have done better I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cBut I thought what I was doing was enough, I thought that I tried everything and so then to sit there in further interviews and discuss it publicly and be like, \u2018I wasn’t supported\u2019, you were though, you know what I am saying? You were, so take some accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen Jamie asked whether the pair could eventually reconnect, Perrie suggested the prospect had become increasingly remote.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIf I am being completely transparent part of me wanted to until the documentary and then part of me withdrew again.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie continued: \u201cThis is the thing I am not a horrible person, I haven’t got a bad bone in my body but I can cut you off. I can cut you out of my life like that, if you upset me and hurt me in a way there’s not really any going back.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI don’t have the capacity for someone like that in my life anymore and that might make me sound like a b**** but I just don’t have the energy for it and as much as I will always love her I don’t think I can hack that energy in my space.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere in the interview, Perrie reflected on her highly publicised relationship with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple began dating in 2011 and became engaged in 2013 before ending their relationship in 2015. <\/p>\n
\nZayn later launched a solo career with the single Pillowtalk, featuring model Gigi Hadid in its music video.<\/p>\n
\nLooking back on the split, Perrie described the intense public attention surrounding the breakup.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI think our personal lives being everywhere. Like that was a lot. And it was a lot to deal with because it wasn’t normal.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie added: \u201cLike when you go through heartbreak, it is hellish. It’s the worst thing in the world. You can’t eat. You can’t sleep. You feel horrendous.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou feel abandoned and you don’t feel good enough and you feel like you’ve been left for something better or whatever it is.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd then what makes it even worse is, I felt like the world was then looking at me, laughing at me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie also said: \u201cNot my fans, my fans were like, \u2018We love you, we’ll fight your corner no matter what\u2019. But I felt embarrassed. I felt horrified. It was awful.\u201d<\/p>\n
