\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Druski<\/strong><\/a> is joining the cast of The Catch<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old comedian is set to join Emma Stone<\/strong><\/a> and Chris Pine<\/strong><\/a> in the upcoming Dave McCary<\/strong><\/a>-directed film. (If you didn\u2019t know, Emma<\/strong> and Dave<\/strong> are married!)<\/p>\n The rom-com is \u201cdescribed as\u00a0Bull Durham<\/em>\u00a0meets\u00a0Notting Hill\u00a0<\/em>with\u00a0Stone<\/strong>\u00a0playing the most hated woman in baseball.\u201d<\/p>\n Druski <\/strong>will play Emma<\/strong>\u2018s character\u2019s security guard, according to Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ashley\u00a0Padilla<\/strong> will be playing the role of\u00a0Emma<\/strong>\u2018s character\u2019s sister. <\/p>\n The film start production next month in New York, via THR.<\/a><\/p>\n Hacks\u00a0<\/em>co-creator\u00a0Jen Statsky<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Adam Ruins Everything\u00a0<\/em>writer\u00a0Travis Helwig<\/strong>\u00a0wrote\u00a0the most recent script, which was originally penned by\u00a0Patrick Kang<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Levin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The movie is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2027.<\/p>\n Earlier in the month,\u00a0Emma<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Dave<\/strong>\u00a0stepped out for the\u00a02026 Producers Guild Awards<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0held at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. They\u2019ve been together for six years.<\/p>\n Dave<\/strong>\u00a0was previously a writer and segment director on\u00a0Saturday Night Live<\/em>. He made his directorial debut in 2017 with the movie\u00a0Brigsby Bear<\/em>.<\/p>\n Chris\u00a0<\/strong>was attached to the project back in February and he\u2019s no stranger to romantic comedies after having his breakout movie role as the romantic lead in\u00a0The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement<\/em>.
